मोबाइल फोन आज के जमाने की एक अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरण है। मोबाइल फोन की मदद से लोग किसी भी जगह से किसी से भी बात कर सकते हैं। अब फोन पर बात करने के लिए घरों में लगे हुए टेलीफोन सेट के पास जाने की जरूरत नहीं है। अब लोग अपने पॉकेट में रखे मोबाइल फोन से बात कर सकते हैं।

पहले मोबाइल फोन काफी महंगा हुआ करता था। लेकिन अब काफी सस्ते मोबाइल फोन भी आने लगे हैं। अब मोबाइल फोन इतना सस्ता हो गया है कि लगभग सभी आदमी के पास कम-से-कम एक मोबाइल तो जरूर होता है। मोबाइल सिर्फ बात करने के लिए ही नहीं बल्कि अब आप मोबाइल में इंटरनेट भी चला सकते है। इंटरनेट आने से हम लोगों को कंप्यूटर की जरूरत लगभग कम हो गई है। कुछ अच्छे मोबाइल फोन में लगभग कंप्यूटर के बराबर ही सभी फीचर्स रहते हैं। आप उस मोबाइल फोन से कंप्यूटर के बराबर का काम ले सकते हैं।

अब स्मार्टफोन आ जाने की वजह से लोग अपने मोबाइल में जिस जगह भी जाना हो, वहां का मैप देख सकते हैं और मंजिल कितनी दूर है वह भी पता कर सकते हैं। अब मोबाइल में लाखों एप्स डाउनलोड करने के लिए उपलब्ध है। किसी भी तरह के जरूरत के लिए ऐप्स उपलब्ध है। आपको सिर्फ ऐप्स सर्च करना है और उसे अपने मोबाइल पर डाउनलोड करना है। इससे फायदा यह होगा कि आपका बहुत सारा काम मोबाइल से हो जाएगा।

मोबाइल के कुछ नुकसान भी है। बहुत सारे स्टूडेंट पढ़ाई पर कम ध्यान देते हैं और मोबाइल पर गेम खेलते रहते है या सोशल नेटवर्किंग साइट्स चलाते रहते हैं। इससे उनका बहुत सारा समय बर्बाद होता है। मोबाइल फोन काफी कम समय में नए-नए फीचर्स के साथ बाजार में आते हैं और लोग उन्हें खरीदने का मन बना लेते हैं। इतनी बार मोबाइल फोन बदलने से कई लोगों को आर्थिक परेशानियों का सामना भी करना पड़ता है।

मोबाइल फोन का इस्तेमाल सिर्फ अपने फायदे के लिए ही करना चाहिए। इसमें ज्यादा समय नष्ट नहीं करना चाहिए और जितना जरूरत हो सिर्फ उतना ही इस्तेमाल करना चाहिए।
